Founder & CEO
Greg founded the company in 1987. Since then, the company has grown from a three person team to over 50 employees with offices in North and South Florida. He is passionate about customer relationships and employee satisfaction. “This company was founded on completing projects honestly and reliably. Your team is what makes that happen.”

Vice President
Greg Jr joined the company in 2006. His focus is expanding the company into new sectors and exploring technologies such as laser cleaning, induction, and VR documentation. He is a laser safety officer and on the AMPP laser ablation standards committee. When not in the field or in the office, Greg can be found building computers or tending to his koi pond.

CFO & Treasurer
Dani joined the company in May of 2018. She handles finances such as payroll, bookkeeping, and accounts payables. She also handles the day to day employee operations. Dani enjoys watching AEW wrestling and going to live events where she “acts a fool”. She also enjoys sitting in her backyard with her baby dogs while drinking Michelob Ultra.

VP of Marketing
Jay started with the company in the spring of 2022. He is responsible for overseeing all marketing and visual communication efforts for the company, such as website maintenance and social media content creation. When not in the office or out documenting field operation efforts, you can find Jay running on a trail or doing landscape photography.

VP of Laser Technology Business Development
Tim joined Best-Tec in January 2024. He brings nearly 40 years of technical and management experience in surface preparation, coating applications, and the preservation of historic structures and monumental buildings in North America. For the past 18 years he has focused on advanced laser technology for surface preparation process improvements in aerospace, automotive, the DoD, DoTs, power generation, and historic conservation. He has led the development of a laser ablation industry standard and technical guide for AMPP. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his wife, 5 children, 2 grandchildren and attending year-round sporting events.

Project Manager / Estimator

Chris joined Best-Tec in August of 2024 after twenty-five years of experience in the construction industry including Estimating, Project Management, and Quality Assurance.  Chris is responsible for managing ongoing projects for Best-Tec including asbestos, mold, lead abatement, and Induction Coating Removal and Laser Ablation (ICRALA) projects.  He works with clients like Haskell, Siemens Energy, and Virginia DOT.   He also estimates and wins new projects to keep the Best-Tec pipeline full.

Chris has a degree from ITT Technical Institute in Computer Aided Drafting and Design.  He is the father of three and an active member of the community.  Chris is dedicated to building lasting relationships with Best-Tec employees and customers alike.  “Quality means doing it right when no one is looking.”  Henry Ford

Executive Vice President & General Manager

Steve serves as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Best-Tec since 2025. He is responsible for the company's strategic direction, operational performance, and business growth. Bringing more than two decades of leadership experience, he oversees corporate operations, workforce development, customer engagement, and the execution of key initiatives that drive organizational success. His leadership focuses on building strong teams, optimizing performance, and delivering innovative solutions that create lasting value for customers and industry partners.

Director of Construction Services

Jeremy serves as Director of Construction Services since 2026. In this position, he provides strategic leadership, direction, and oversight for the company's abatement, demolition, and project management operations. Jeremy graduated from UNF Building Construction Management and is a licensed Certified Building Contractor with over 20 years of construction experience. 

Jeremy is responsible for ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and profitably while maintaining full compliance with contractual requirements, company standards, applicable codes, schedules, and budget expectations. His leadership focuses on operational excellence, risk management, and delivering high-quality results for clients across all phases of project execution.

Enjoys concerts, sporting events, fishing, good food and spending time with family.

Consultant and Metallurgical Engineer

Matt joined Best-Tec as a consultant and Metallurgical Engineer who brings over 39 years of experience in base metals production, nuclear process design, and sustainment technology development and transition in support the maintenance and sustainment of Naval ships. 

As a retired Navy officer, he has a breadth of experience across all services from tactical operations to operational level of warfare.  As a Navy civilian, he had over 26 years of experience in acquisition planning and management, systems engineering, test & evaluation, and corrosion mitigation.  He most recently supported the development of AMPP standards and guides for pulsed laser ablation.

 He has recently returned to Idaho and is enjoying the mountains again.

Office Administrator

Kia is a dedicated administrative professional with extensive experience in office operations, customer service, accounting, training, and team support. She is passionate about helping organizations operate efficiently while building positive relationships with both employees and customers.

Outside of her professional career, Kia is actively involved in her community and has a passion for serving others. She is also an American Sign Language interpreter and enjoys using her skills to support the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community. Kia values faith, family, personal growth, and making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Operations Support & Marketing

Oksana supports Best-Tec’s daily operations, communications, and marketing initiatives. With a journalism background and strong experience in client relations and communications, she brings an organized, detail-oriented, and people-focused approach to her role. She enjoys collaborating with the team, taking on new challenges, and contributing to the company’s continued growth.

Outside of work, Oksana enjoys staying active, working out, traveling, exploring new places, and enjoying good food and music.

Director of Quality Control

Tim joined Best-Tec in the fall of 2025, bringing more than 40 years of experience in the nuclear sector and extensive expertise in advanced laser cleaning and ablation technologies for both radiological and non-radiological hazardous materials. Tim specializes in the laser ablation of radioactive materials and committed to helping create a cleaner, safer future by optimizing resources and reducing the risks associated with hazardous materials. Throughout his career, he has remained focused on learning something new every day and continuously improving with every task and project he undertakes.

Project Superintendent
Rafael has been working with Best-Tec since March of 2000. He brings extensive field expertise and specializes on managing on-site staff for large scale projects. With safety and attention to detail as his top priority, he holds certifications in asbestos lead abatement, mold remediation, heavy equipment operations, OSHA 30, hazwoper, and rescue and fall protection. “My goal is to always exceed the clients expectations.” When not overseeing field operations, Rafael can be found teaching gospel at his church.

Supervisor
Having 32 years of experience in the abatement industry, Julio has been with Best-Tec since 1999. During this time, he has overseen projects ranging from military bases, federal buildings, as well as commercial and residential. While he now mainly operates out of our West Palm Beach office, he has supervised projects in several states such as Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Mississippi. He specializes in asbestos and lead abatement, as well as mold remediation. Julio speaks three languages, English, Spanish and prides himself on effective communication between all project stakeholders including staff, project managers, and our clients. “Communication is essential to ensure a task is well understood and of course completed.”

Supervisor
Doug started working for Best-Tec in the summer of 2019. With a background in environmental sciences, he brings experience in Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response, or HAZWOPER, as well as operating heavy equipment machinery, medical response, asbestos and lead abatement, OSHA-10, and laser operation and training. He holds several certifications in these areas of expertise and uses this knowledge when supervising and planning field operations.. Doug’s motto is “there is only one way to do things and that’s to do it right the first time. Proper planning and communication is the key to that”. When not supervising, Doug enjoys outdoorsman activities such as camping, hunting, and fishing.
